Online therapy to help you get unstuck and back to you

About You

On the outside, you put your best self forward. You look after the people around you and are always thinking of others. You’re kind and considerate and feel good when people treat you the same way. You’ve achieved much in your life to feel proud of.

But feeling good about yourself is often short-lived and you find yourself doubting your achievements or telling yourself it was luck.

On the inside, you don’t feel good enough. It feels like everyone else is living their best life, and you’re not. It stings when people don’t show you the same respect or care you show them, and you wonder what you did wrong. You beat yourself up if you make a mistake or fall short. You feel overwhelmed by the responsibilities in your life, yet take on even more in an effort to please others. It all feels too heavy and you’re finding it all too much!

You’re exhausted and somewhere along the way you feel like you lost yourself!

It might be that there’s been a change or transition in your life. It might be that you have a decision to make. It might simply be that you’re too exhausted to keep going on like this. Whatever your reason, it feels like you can’t get to where you need to be without some help and support. You might feel uneasy at the idea of therapy or that therapy is too extreme.

But it might be exactly what you need. If any of the above resonates with you, get in touch. I would love to help you!

About Me

Hi, I'm Charlie and I work with adults who feel lost, not good enough and overwhelmed that want to understand themselves better and build their confidence and self-esteem. I believe change and transformation is absolutely possible. I am Manchester-based, however, I work online so you do not have to live locally for us to work together. If you would like to know more about me and how counselling can help you, click the button below to take you to my 'About Me' page. You can also find information about my qualifications and therapeutic approach there too if you're interested in that.

Online Counselling

I work online using Microsoft Teams, which is a secure video platform, so you do not have to be local to Manchester to work with me.

It is important you have a quiet and private space where you won't be disturbed, but feel free to bring along a cuppa to the session and make yourself comfortable.

If online counselling sounds like something that might help you, or you have any questions about how it all works, I would love to hear from you.

Get in touch with me by using the enquiry form below or via my 'Contact' page.

Free Initial 20 Minute Consultation

I understand it can be hard to reach out and ask for help, particularly from someone you don't yet know. I offer a free initial 20-minute session, via phone or online, where I’m happy to answer questions, discuss any anxieties, and for you to get a sense of me so you can decide if I am a good fit for you.

There's no pressure or expectation to make a decision there and then about whether you wish to continue with me. It's important for you to feel comfortable with whoever you choose.

If you would like to arrange an initial session, please get in touch with me via the enquiry form at the bottom of this page, or via my 'Contact' page, and I will reply to you by email.

Appointments & Cost

If you decide you would like to work with me, we will arrange a date and time for your first session either during or following the initial consultation.

Sessions are 50 minutes and will usually take place weekly, especially to begin with. However, we can discuss your needs at the first appointment, as these will vary from person to person.

My working days are Tuesdays and Thursdays. I have very limited evening availability so these appointments tend to be booked up quickly.

Each 50 minute session is £50.

Get in touch

If you feel ready to take the next step, or even if you haven't decided and just have questions, don't hesitate to get in touch with me using the contact form.

It can be useful to have a brief overview of what's going on for you to make sure it's something I can help you with. You don't need to go into detail, just a line or two in the message box is great so I have a general idea.

I will aim to reply to all enquiries within 1 to 2 working days. If you do not receive a response from me within this time, please check your junk/spam folder as I'm aware replies can unhelpfully land in there.

Message received - Thank you for your enquiry!
